About BoneHealth BC

BoneHealth BC aims to provide accurate and accessible bone health analysis to our province's indicated populations and at-risk people.

We support clinicians and empower their patients to improve the assessment of bone health and safely improve clinical and functional bone-related outcomes.

what our patients are saying

I recently had a scan at my local physio clinic (BC Bone Health travels around throughout the lower mainland, Vancouver Island and the interior). I found the information that I received from it to be far more useful than the DEXA/Bone density scan that I had earlier this year.

REMS is affordable, convenient, and Buddy, who runs the company, is passionate about what he does. If you're concerned about your bone health, please check this out!

A collaborative team

of medical professionals and sonographers

BoneHealth BC is a company consisting of a collaborative team of medical professionals and sonographers focused on bone health and mobile bone mineral density screening using R.E.M.S technology.

R.E.M.S (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry) technology combines ultrasound and radiofrequency to measure the quantity and quality of bones.

BoneHealth BC uses the Echolight R.E.M.S ultrasound technology platform to support clinicians and empower their patients to improve the assessment of bone health and safely improve clinical and functional bone-related outcomes.

“Guidance and feedback

sooner rather than later makes a tremendous difference…”

“I wanted to emphasise the importance of practitioners' role in treating patients with osteoporosis and how the knowledge gained in sessions like this directly benefits their patients. From the patient's perspective, one of the most pressing needs is timely feedback. Waiting two or three years to discover that a treatment has not worked can be devastating. As Dr. Levins emphasized, earlier intervention is critical — not only for physical health, but also for mental well‑being.

In speaking with others who live with osteoporosis, the overwhelming thread I hear is: “I’ve been told to do this, but I don’t know if it’s working.” That uncertainty is difficult. Having practitioners who can provide guidance and feedback sooner rather than later makes a tremendous difference in helping patients feel supported, in control, and able to adjust before problems escalate.”

personalized care plans

BoneHealth BC cares about your health, so we work hard to develop and maintain a continuity of care model. This model allows patients, with or without a primary care provider, to access virtual medical care to establish personalized care plans that address diet, lifestyle, exercise, supplementation and, when necessary, prescription medications.
